@d3stinyyyr Congratulations on a great career !!!! Everyone sees the stats, the offers, the SEC logos, and the big moments. What they don’t see is the work. I’ve had the privilege of watching Destiny Rodriguez grow up around the game. At 5’1, she was never the biggest player on the field. But her work ethic? Different level. Talking with her dad, they put in 3 hours a day, 6-7 days a week, for nearly 10 years. That’s 10,000+ hours reps,sweat, failure, adjustments, and sacrifice to become an elite hitter and reach the highest level of college softball at Tennessee and Auburn.That’s the part young players need to understand. Greatness usually doesn’t come from shortcuts, hype, or talent alone. It comes from consistency when nobody is watching. Des is proof that size doesn’t determine your ceiling. Your work ethic does. Proud of you, Des. The softball world got to see the player… but the people close to the journey got to witness the work behind it. @bombers_fp

6-0 this weekend and brought home the @ProspectWireSB Champion Cup in the 12U Gold bracket 🏆 So proud of my teammates for competing all weekend and getting it done. Favorite play of the weekend—wasn’t a double play or a throw at home… but it still hit different. Took away a gap shot and a run—cut it off, hit a smooth spin, and fired a clean throw to the cut… outfield work. Leveling up every week and loving the grind. Another district game, another win, another solid night at the plate. We won 11-5 tonight. I went 4 for 5, 2 dbls, 2 singles and have a team high district batting avg of .818.
