From financial exclusion and limited access to credit, to restricted economic autonomy, to women consistently being overlooked for funding and capital, these challenges are real. Too often, women are navigating systems that were not designed with them in mind. And yet, women continue to build, lead, and innovate. The capability has never been in question — access has. Recently, I spoke at KCA University under the theme “Her Story, Her Power.” It was a reminder that when women own their narratives, something shifts not just in confidence, but in possibility.

Our @PretiumAPI powers over 70% web 3 products across Africa (early stage).
One thing clear is that most building independent products are doing crazy numbers than ones building miniapps as their only distribution channel.
Why miniapps should not be the go-to market strategy for most builder in Africa?
- They grant access to millions users but that does not translate to building a community around your product.
- It hard to learn and iterate your product fast because you are building around a culture of distribution channel.
To put this into context, we have seen base app shift focus.
What then of the miniapps who were building entirely around the base app focus at the time?

The only way I can enjoy horizontal activities is if my team mate is doing it willingly. If she has to be paid ,under duress, intoxicated or a financial refugee then it's a no for me . I believe that when a woman comes to you with problems and you use them as anchors to dock in her channel of hamuz ,you are no better than the guy with a knife to her neck . Help her and if one day she comes back on her own volution then it's okey.stay guided.

Those are my fellow millennials. They grew up in Nairobi when only KBC was going beyond Nairobi. When all FM stations were restricted to Nairobi. When there was no internet. They have refused to grow. Living in Nairobi those times felt like a privilege. Nowadays it feels like punishment.
