What is your early prediction for Knights/Ducks?

I know I’m supposed to “hate” the Ducks because they just beat the Oilers but I sincerely hope they slaughter the Golden Knights.

Vegas gets through Utah to face a happy to be here Ducks team.
Avs have to play a top 3 team in the league in the Wild, who had to beat a top 3 team in the Stars to get to the Avs.
Central side of the bracket is the apocalypse while the Pacific side is like recess

Thanks for all the entertainment again this season! Love the VGK broadcast team including D’Uva and the local radio team. We are blessed to have amazing play by play guys and Alec Martinez was a great addition! My least favorite part about the playoffs is having to listen to the national broadcast crews instead of our guys, it’s huge downgrade.

@Zeeeegs Same here but I do think an NBA team will be more successful and well received by locals than Raiders or A’s…. Before the Knights, this was a basketball town first and foremost.

Couldn't care about basketball in Vegas. It's a hockey city.
Same way that I don't really care too much about the Raiders.

Las Vegas Golden Knights owner Bill Foley is another candidate planning to make an official bid for the NBA’s expansion team in 2028-29. Foley, former Bucks co-owner Marc Lasry, and NBA Hall of Famer Magic Johnson have all signaled early interest in Las Vegas ownership bids.

@TheHershAZ @ToddFuhrman Agreed, A’s will get the least support for sure and 81 games is a lot. The stadium capacity being so small (33k) was probably a good move. Imagine if they were trying to fill 55k seats 81 times a season, no chance.

@ToddFuhrman Agreed on the raiders because it’s 8 games a year. VGK is similar to the suns in the first team in town. Problem with baseball is 81 home games a year is hard to fill

When I was in Vegas, I learned the city is way different than many think.
Many think it’s only casinos/tourists.
People from there are as fiercely proud of their city as anywhere in the country. Them against the world attitude. Blue collar.
They turn out for their teams. They’ll support the full group just fine.

@Geraldshouse54 @AbsGEC It was mostly due to the huge build out cost at the beginning but not anymore. They were profitable in 2025. Mostly because of the success of the Wizard of Oz show.

No way!! Brad Garlinghouse just spoke at XRP Vegas. The sphere in Las Vegas refused to put XRP on it but BTC and ETH were fine. The hate is so forced it's comical

One band was amazing live, had 60k people up and jumping the entire time. The other band was a dud and nobody gave a crap. Just like nobody gave a crap at the show in Las Vegas. The audience sat down for the entire 3 hours with the exception of the hit songs off appetite. I didn’t say there was a mass exodus, but boring as hell, absolutely and Axl sounded terrible and ramble on nonsensically. One of the greatest debut albums in history, yes absolutely but good live band worth your time and money to watch, no way. Don’t take it so personally, it’s just a fact, they are not a good live act.
