FHE changes the game because it keeps data encrypted while it’s being used, not just while it’s stored. That means privacy can become native to execution, not just an overlay. Veilnet is built around that idea.

Veilnet isn’t just a product. It’s a privacy layer for onchain infrastructure. Mixers, bridges, and future primitives should not leak more data than necessary. That’s why we’re building encrypted by design.

We’re starting on @base because privacy needs to be where users and builders already are. Veilnet will make it easier to launch private primitives without rebuilding the whole app stack. Then we expand to every EVM chain that needs it. @buildonbase @jessepollak

FHE changes how we think about private transfers. Instead of sending assets into a separate shielded pool, Fully Homomorphic Encryption lets contracts keep balances and computations encrypted directly in the main state. That means private transfers without detours through special pools — privacy as a property of the ledger itself, not a sidecar system.

ZK, TEEs, and FHE are converging into a new privacy stack for Web3. Veilnet leans FHE‑native, then layers proofs and protocol design on top So developers can build products where privacy isn’t a feature, it’s the substrate.
