Can someone please give me a logical explanation for how my Alexa has moved (and smashed) by itself? I was alone at home on my phone. Out of nowhere, the (heavy) Alexa fell off the table and smashed, despite it having a rubber base to stop it sliding. I checked the camera to see how it fell, & saw that it was slowly moving backwards over the course of 3mins???

@Veracityy_ Was anything playing on it during this? Could be aided by an imperceptible tilt to the table its on. Rubber stoppers are good for stopping it from sliding around from being pushed or bumped, but when it vibrates, so does the rubber stopper, reducing friction etc

@Azfura There was nothing playing on it though, is it still possible for it to vibrate and move this much? 🧐

Electromagnetic waves signaled the infrared connection via irradical vibrations lol, basically, what happened here is the sounds coming from the Alexa caused a ripple in the electro waves which caused vibrations and given its slanted nature is wasn’t aligned with the horizon of the table

@Veracityy_ Is this bait? You can literally see a person blipping into an out of frame over and over because it’s not a full capture (it looks like your video recording failed and didn’t fully capture the person walking through the frame that did something to it)

@PresumablyTunes Wire wasn't pulled tightly, it was dangling. I tried pulling it from the wire afterwards too but it was super difficult because of the weight + friction

@Veracityy_ Only two logical things I can think of: The sound that was playing was causing vibrations, causing it to slowly become unstable A wire being tight for some reason and pulling it Weird though frfr
