I just came across this nostalgic image taken from THE VERY FIRST play session for Counter-Strike BETA1. Notice how awful our pings were... This was peak dial-up internet back in 1999. The map is cs_mansion.

@toreler If I have a game with several levels and mostly megascans, will I have to go through each level separately and do something to each mesh?

Our brain is incredible at detecting edges, to the point where too much visual clutter can make it harder for players to focus on what matters. Blending meshes isn't always about making it look good but helping the important stuff "pop". Used MeshBlend and a "Find edges" filter to visualize. #gamedev #UnrealEngine #UnrealEngine5
