To coincide with our #WorldCancerDay activities, we commissioned the first of several @FlacNigeria screening clinics in Kebbi. The clinics are a give back from @Roche Nigeria. I was delighted to be joined by wife of the Kebbi state governor, Hajiya Nafisa Idris @nafisa_kauran.
The continuation of cancer control programs in Kebbi is a testament that our democracy is maturing and initiatives do not end with tenures. Kudos to Gov @NasiridrisKG

HPV infection is a causative factor of cancer. It is sexually transmitted and can be prevented with a vaccine. If we add screening for the virus using molecular tests along with early treatment, we can eliminate cervical and other cancers. Let’s learn more on 3/3/23. @IPVSociety

One of the more baffling things to me about Nigerian elections is INEC's use of Lecturers.
With few exceptions, the acedemia in Nigeria is one the least disciplined, least competent, and most corrupt sectors. I will never understand how we decided to hand the elections to them.
