It's just gone 9:00am, London and parts of southern England are under an "Amber" weather warning, let's how long it takes for the sewage dumping to start and how it progresses over the next few hours. Oh look, it's only been raining for a few hours and the dumping's started already. Well done to @SouthernWater, @thameswater, @AnglianWater.

This week one of our volunteers went to help a friend determine the species and roost type of bats living in her home, after spotting some droppings. They were blown away when 81 soprano pipistrelles came pouring out 🦇 Great to know of another local maternity roost doing well 💚

River update; what will the long term effects be of sewage releases? For paddlers etc I’d recommend washing your hands before eating. Use the Thames Water storm discharge map especially after heavy rains. @RiverActionUK
