@L4Z3R37H @FenixAmmunition Most newer F150 hubs have the spline along the outer ring of the hub where the halfshaft meets, so that a ring can slide over the halfshaft and that spline to allow for disconnecting and reconnecting front hubs automatically (with vacuum)

@FenixAmmunition Interesting. Never seen a front hub that wasn't splined for the axle shaft.

If you don't know how to do stuff on your own, you're not gonna make it. I've done everything from brake jobs to engine swaps and transmission replacements as a self-taught mechanic, and most of what I learned, I learned in the "pre YouTube" days with my first car. Want to become a backyard mechanical engineer over a couple year's time? Get yourself a project car.

@sleitnick Have someone listen in at the gas tank when you turn the key, they should hear a slight hum for a few seconds. If not, fuel pump is either not receiving power or has failed. If it is running, get a cheap OBD2 scanner from your local auto parts store and see if it has any codes.

My car won't start. The starter seems to crank the engine, but the engine never seems to start up. Any ideas? Full tank of gas. Car (civic) is only 5 years old. Battery is a couple years old.

@MaximumADHD Damn ur lucky. Had my ac go out the first day it was super hot. Driving around in a black car in 105 degree weather with no ac is not fun.

@sleitnick I've been consistently moving between operating systems. I really wish I could stick with Linux, but until it is officially supported I am forced to use a hackintosh.

I feel so free not being tied to Apple devices. And yet my father-in-law reminds me weekly how I pay the "Windows tax". He's 100% Linux (suse) & I'm jealous of that. If I could run Roblox in Linux without weird hacks, I'd switch over.

@KingDiaaamond Very good. I've been somewhat trying to move away from boblox lately. Applied for multiple jobs as a mechanic. It is much more fun to just relax with my girl after working for hours than try doing shit on a computer all day.

Bought all new injectors. 6 hours of work and that truck now runs perfect.

Oh nice, injector #2 is out now too, which is why it was still missing. About to just buy all new injectors from my brothers diesel shop and hopefully get them put in tonight.

For anyone interested, this is a 2004 6.0 powerstroke (2003 model engine) Had a bad #5 injector and I'm fixing an oil leak on the high pressure oil pump cover while I already have it torn apart.
