No, we don't know that, Frank. We do know that if U.S. elections were won by the candidates who get the most votes, trump would NOT have been president in 2017-21, nor W Bush in 2001-05. We'd have had President Al Gore & President Hillary Clinton.

Let's demystify this nonsense. If today was 1870, I'd definitely be a Republican. But a lot has changed in 156 years, including the party of Lincoln abandoning civil rights and becoming the party of white supremacism and its close cousin Christian nationalism. Today's GOP bears no resemblance to the party of Lincoln.

Dems aren't in power; they didn't pass anything for their base when they were; nor are they campaigning on any coherent, unified agenda now. Folks say Dems are "going too far left" because that message is repeated, ad nauseum, by billionaire-owned mainstream media.

Now that Republicans have solved racism, perhaps it's time to notice that 1) The Strait of Hormuz is still closed; and 2) the Trillion Dollar U.S. military, stymied by cheap drones, speedboats, and mines, is apparently powerless to do anything about it.
