O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of thy mercy.

"You see that a man is justified by works, and not by faith alone." Every Protestant can and should affirm this statement.

@RyanHurst171 The Moravians would inherit our Churches and holy items. That deal is no longer in place of course, but we used to be much closer theologically.

@RyanHurst171 The Moravians are now very liberal. There were some interesting things about it, like paedocommunion. But our pastor was a gay socialist soo... interesting enough, there used to be an agreement between the Moravians and the Anglicans centuries ago that if we ever went bankrupt...

@OrdinariateUSA My assumption is that their answer would be no, but not because of the work, but because of the lack of faith. Faith produces fruit, a fruit is obedience, and a big act of obedience is baptism. To reject baptism shows a lack of faith. So that person could not be sure of salvation

Honestly answer this, anabaptists. Would you genuinely feel comfortable refusing to get baptized and still feeling assured of your salvation? Not talking about not being able to get baptized. I’m talking about the anabaptist Protestants who seem to have the means to get baptized but still refuse it because “that’s a work bro” Deep in your heart, do you feel like you can simply refuse to get baptized and still feel assured in your salvation?

Baptism is not required for salvation.

As I expected, the parish priest and sponsor are no longer willing to work with me to bring me into the Catholic Church. That’s fine. I hold too many views contrary to Church teachings anyway, so it wouldn’t really make sense for me to be Catholic.

@CharlesTingler Find a Church and go. It can be Catholic, Protestant, EO, whatever. But you need to be attending a Church. It may take a long time to find one that you believe is faithful to Scripture, but it is important for your soul to be among the brethren.
