Some teachers choose to work in the toughest environments knowing they will often get the least 'visibility', highest scrutiny and most challenging behaviour. Doing this year in, year out (not for 5 mins) is the 'D-Day 1st wave' of teaching and I personally respect anyone who does this so, so much.

KS3 and KS5 students took part in The Green Expo Youth Conference at the University of Chester today. Students worked together to design the futures they want to see, whilst gaining an understanding of how to tackle the climate and nature emergencies.

At my first school, I got a proper telling off by a member of SLT for being on site several hours after school finished. I didn't have the confidence to tell them I was a member of staff.

@MBDscience At my first school, I was tapped on the shoulder and told these are staff toilets ..... my mistake was black trousers and a white blouse, too similar to the uniform 🤣

I've told my tutor group, I've told my yr 10s and I've started telling my other classes that I'm leaving. So I can now say I'm proud and excited to be starting in a new school as Head of Geography in September. Any advice most welcome, I'll be on here asking for help!!

The wonderful team at ⁦@L6Centre⁩ are available to help people struggling, especially over half-term. Any uniform in good condition from kids leaving school, would be very much appreciate in their uniform shop for students starting new schools, after the summer.
