It’s crazy how much the bar has changed for myself with writing in this season of life. Before, I would’ve been so defeated to only get 400 words written in a day. But now it makes me SO happy and proud that I somehow managed to find time to write at all!!

Don’t mind me tooting my own horn, but my friends, I absolutely nailed my writing tonight. 🎺🔥 1,400 words added, with some seriously satisfying story progression. Best of all, the words just spilled onto the page - fast & effortless. These kinds of writing days are rare, but when they happen… best feeling ever!

Finishing the last edits before I send my manuscript to the first readers. I'm SO nervous, grateful, excited. Twisting in the what ifs - what if they think it's boring, confusing, unoriginal? I guess that's why we have first-readers, to tell us the things we need to hear. ❤

@amberbristow_ How is Scribophile working for you? I haven't been able to find real betas myself. Every time I ask for volunteers, I get a bunch who read a few chapters and use AI, then tell me if I want more done, I have to pay for their services. I'm not paying for AI.
