🚨 #F1 manufacturers and the FIA have agreed a last-minute rule change to qualifying for the Japanese Grand Prix in a bid to avoid energy management headaches. The single lap recharge limit - which was originally going to be 9MJ for Suzuka - will be dropped to 8MJ. This should reduce the need for excessive super clipping or lift-and-coast tactics in fight for grid positions.

@NoContextCounty 0% and full of pessimism. No change will occur from McCullum, Key and Stokes. It proved in Key's comments in his ECB video statement and SkySports interview. It proved it in Stokes letter to supporters. ECB is rewarding mediocrity, unpreparedness, protecting poor players.

Yes Rob, you tried but you made poor decisions and McCullum made poor decisions and it all went horribly wrong — both on and off the field. You persisted with players who aren’t good enough (when the whole world told you that they weren’t good enough). Selection was poor, preparation was poor, execution was poor and you lost control of the players. Personally, I have no faith that either of you have the judgement, the ability or the leadership skills to take England further or to make them better.

@eggbassett1 @bbctms He average 20 across the entire Ashes and Stokes/McCullum protected him to hide him at the outfield boundary. His position should not be automatic, it should be based performance in the build up to the next series. And Crawley will be out for NZ series.

@eggbassett1 @bbctms Duckett needs to start proving himself to be included in XI and not just be given based on "previous accomplishments". Stokes and McCullum has protected him too long. More CC players need to be given an opportunity.
