If being told "Free Palestine" makes you feel unsafe as a jewish person, you need a reality check on what it means to be unsafe. Disgusted and angered by the fire that devastated Nöam, a well-known kosher restaurant in Montreal. My team and I had eaten there just last month. Montreal police are investigating the fire as arson. It comes amid an alarming rise in attacks against Jewish institutions, businesses, schools and places of worship. The motive must be established quickly, and those responsible must be found, prosecuted and held fully accountable. Antisemitism has no place in Montreal or anywhere in Canada. We will always stand with the Jewish community.
