@HBM_afc Ditto.
I expected this to be your response.
Just don’t be one of those guys who turns around and says it’s incredible how much he improved or he’s leaner or whatever nonsense you want to come out with to back your theory…
I like you, but you’re off on this.
Time will tell 🤝
English

@TheFergusonWay @henrywinter Respect you Henry and followed your work for many years. One of the best in the game. However was Football not about Glory in 2019? Or when Gerrard/Bale/Suarez/RVP (Arsenal) won the award? Salah in 2018 and best of all Scott Parker in 2011?
English

@henrywinter Can I ask why you voted for Kevin de Bruyne in 2019/20 when Liverpool won the league that season?
Thought you said the "the game's about glory"
Hypocrite.

English

@SimonPeach @SullyTalkz Thanks Simon. He means back handed compliments like this. Talk of assists being set piece heavy etc in the media

English

@SullyTalkz Appreciate that. Fernandes got my vote, for what it's worth
English

@mairyrajput @SHABAZGIL If same had been said about /Bhutto/Zardari/Imran Khan would punishment be same? The answer is no. So it is a clear mis use of power. Maybe you ban him 5 matches or you fine him 10-20 lakh but 2 crore is crazy. The punishment does not fit the crime. The world is laughing at us
English

@Vik99x @SHABAZGIL Exactly it’s the difference between personal freedom and official duty.
English

@shaunconnolly85 Hopefully an irrelevant discussion as we need 2 CM. Sign 2 to give us balance and different skills
English

@shaunconnolly85 The eyes test is clear in this Wharton I love as a player but he does not have the legs of Anderson/Tonali.
Ugarte has great stats in duels but he is absolute dross. Overall I agree just not on this mate.
English

@Vik99x Wharton has had a higher duel-win % than Anderson in consecutive Premier League seasons, while also delivering more key passes.
Duel % this season has Wharton at 77% and Anderson at 65%.
This myth about his lack of midfield prowess is inaccurate. He would complement Mainoo.
English

@mairyrajput @SHABAZGIL Somehow the rules are different anywhere else in the world! At least you admit and we agreed on his career would be at risk because of political power mis-use and his family would also be at risk. Thanks
English

@Vik99x @SHABAZGIL Exactly! If he’s centrally contracted, he must stick to the rules and do the job he’s being paid for—nothing extra. Signing a contract is a legal obligation, and breaking it isn’t acceptable.
English

@mairyrajput @SHABAZGIL If this is the level in Pakistan it is very worrying. What would happen to a common person? In England for the same comment and more there would be no problem.
English

@Vik99x @SHABAZGIL In his recent tweet, he took full responsibility, which shows he understands the impact. If it wasn’t disrespectful, he should’ve said that clearly instead of taking responsibility. It was wrong, and he admitted it.

English

@mairyrajput @SHABAZGIL There is no disrespect! It is a fact. Who is she? She is not queen of lords. He stated a fact. There was no disrespect
English

@Vik99x @SHABAZGIL Having a political preference is fine—but disrespect isn’t. As a public figure, you must be careful. In a democracy and in your professional role, you’re expected to follow the rules.
English

@mairyrajput @SHABAZGIL And even if you want to fine him. Make it make sense. 2crore for a tweet? People do many things but don’t get this level of fine. This is a joke what is the violation? His comment was factual. He was not disrespectful. Mis use of power
English

@mairyrajput @SHABAZGIL Democracy right? Free world to make comments. I am in England and national players are free to make their political preference known. This stupid behaviour and wrong use of power is only in Pakistan. He was not rude and to be honest it’s fact . She is not queen of lords
English

@mairyrajput @SHABAZGIL In this case all politicians should remain out of cricket. They have no knowledge of the game no experience. We make all decisions based on politics now you say no politics. Is this not a democracy? In other nations you can talk freely and not have this punishment. This is wrong
English

@SHABAZGIL He’s a cricketer, not a politician. If he likes politics more, he should quit cricket and focus on that. As a centrally contracted player, he must follow the rules of the contract from which he receives his salary.
English

@FrankEra_ @YanitedCynical The people who backed this fool just have low football IQ. Zero knowledge of the game. This was a fail from day 1. The worrying thing is the club signed him.
English

@YanitedCynical I hear it but some players take longer to adapt. I think all signings should be given a year’s grace period and that’s what happened.
Fred for example, was way better after 1/2 years.
Ugarte is not going to ever be good enough. And I say that openly.
English

It still kills me that accounts like FrankEra used to run prop for Ugarte. This fanbase is too dumb
(fan) Zaid ✍🏼🇾🇪@ZaidBalll
I still don’t know how the club advocated for him to be signed.
English

@AK_speaks @sayedzbukhari @iNaseemShah He should not make political comments but every decision in cricket is made based on politics. The chairman is a politician. This is why we are so far behind.
English

@sayedzbukhari @iNaseemShah What rubbish ? He is in central contract and he should not be indulge in political statements as per his Contract ,
English

Unfortunately, this reflects a pattern with Mohsin Naqvi. Stay strong @iNaseemShah , a time is coming when every cricketer will be evaluated purely on merit and performance.
Pakistan ke Kaptaan ka vaada hai.
Faizan Lakhani@faizanlakhani
BREAKING: The Pakistan Cricket Board has issued a showcause notice to Naseem Shah over an alleged breach of central contract terms and media policy. The pacer has been asked to respond within the stipulated time, after which the board will decide on further action under its disciplinary framework
English

@PremLeaguePanel @THEZONEEEEEE Who are your CM signings for United? We need 2 min and ideally 3 after selling Ugarte. I don’t like the profile of Tonali as No6. Anderson is looking difficult.
English

@THEZONEEEEEE Also might be related to national teams not doing great
English

@StatmanDave Tonali good passer? This is just not true.
He can play a good long pass but is not a pass 1st player. He does not have that ability to control a game. Bruno G is the playmaker at Newcastle. Tonali is a great athlete in the box 2 box role. Good ball recovery and carrying
English

@AbdelBeheri @Kebzor Abdel hope all is good. Do you not think we will lack technicality and control? The talk is Baleba + another if that is Tonali there is no pass 1st CM. I like Tonali but as the 2nd CM besides an Anderson/Bruno G and he is also not a natural No6.
English

Would be a great signing but for the right fee. He still has - contract till 2029 with a year extension, we will get fleeced by Newcastle on the price. If I can trust this club with talent recruitment, I would say ignore completely and find a better much cheaper option. Sadly, I know this club. They might not go for him if the price is too high but they’ll get fleeced somewhere else lol
