@earrgames Its copyright infringement if the orbject youre copying is demonstrably unique. Generic objects are fine, but it sounds like youre directly copying an artists work. You dont need trademarks or patents to protect an artist's original works. Copyright.

Is there any legal problem if I make reference to other game's weapons by exact name and attack type? For example, in a 2D game, I want to use weapons from 3D games from the 90s, the weapons will look similar and be named the same (but all original art by me) #indiedev #gamedev

@unclebeany1989 @CrazyRetroGame1 Thats exactly what they have. Its called the discount manager. Changing the price of your game will be permanent if done through the price button

@CrazyRetroGame1 Thanks, I think I may of got the help I needed? Still, they could of made it as easy as, click "put game on sale" then, you select from a time period as well as a percentage? That would work, right? Why couldn't they (Steam) come up with that simple little concept?

I mean exactly that: itchio is newgrounds focused on indie games. Newgrounds has many other types of contents, such as indie albums and movies. Itchio focused on games.
