@atlasablaze Especially if you consider the amount you let steam borrow. So technically you havent made any money until you reach the $200 mark.
How close are you?
English

Fun fact! I don't make any money off the game I made until its made at least $100. I don't know why I didn't think about this before hand 🙃

@earrgames Its copyright infringement if the orbject youre copying is demonstrably unique. Generic objects are fine, but it sounds like youre directly copying an artists work.
You dont need trademarks or patents to protect an artist's original works. Copyright.

@unclebeany1989 Is it impossible that an immortal lives amongst us?

@samyam_youtube Just like the slot machines! You only lose when you stop

@Viktors_Vortex @CrazyRetroGame1 Um, I saw games on steam being "on sale" not on "discount". Save 50% etc?
IDK, Why would I care? Nothing is something worth doing. Go ahead and pay full price??? 🤫

As soon as I can figure out how to do so, I plan to put my game on sale. I did see a tutorial on how to *change* the price but, it never mentioned if it would be displayed as "on sale" or "50%" off or anything?
Why do they got to make it confusing?
English

@Viktors_Vortex @CrazyRetroGame1 Doesn't matter anyway, already figure it out.
Don't buy game, please don't.
English

@unclebeany1989 @CrazyRetroGame1 Nobody calls it a discount? Every ecom platform ive ever used has called it a discount. Etsy, shopify, etc
English

@Viktors_Vortex @CrazyRetroGame1 I think you are failing to see my point?
Language is important. Isn't it?
People call it
SALE, don't' they? Nobody uses that other term.
That is inefficient.
English

@unclebeany1989 @CrazyRetroGame1 Up to you! Right next to it is a discount button.
English

@Viktors_Vortex @CrazyRetroGame1 Yeah, I saw that. I fell it is mislabeled?
English

@unclebeany1989 @CrazyRetroGame1 Thats exactly what they have. Its called the discount manager. Changing the price of your game will be permanent if done through the price button
English

@CrazyRetroGame1 Thanks, I think I may of got the help I needed?
Still, they could of made it as easy as, click "put game on sale" then, you select from a time period as well as a percentage? That would work, right?
Why couldn't they (Steam) come up with that simple little concept?
English

@HereticalRPG Some people work harder than others, and it shows
English

@Tatoretot I guess if you predict you won't regret it in the future. Thats the best anyone can do i reckon...

@pigdev @CodeRed_dev Ohhh you were trying to say itch is focused on games and newgrounds isnt.
I love the enthusiasm!
English

@Viktors_Vortex @CodeRed_dev You could had stopped at "What does that even mean" and allow me to explain instead of assuming anything.
I mean exactly that: itchio is newgrounds focused on indie games.
Newgrounds has many other types of contents, such as indie albums and movies. Itchio focused on games.
