And a language that had to be artificially imposed by law because the population wasn’t even speaking Greek properly. That’s right Greek was made mandatory by legislation. Without forced language laws, “Greece” would’ve been speaking Albanian, Slavic and Vlach in the villages and calling it a day. Modern Greek itself? Not even pure. It’s a 19th century academic construction Katharevousa invented by scholars trying to connect a medieval Balkan population to ancient Athens. A manufactured language. For a manufactured nation. Ruled by a foreign king. Founded by Albanians. And THESE are the people telling Turks: “You don’t belong in Anatolia.” Your king was German. 🇩🇪 Your heroes were Albanian. 🦅 Your language was legislated. 📜 Your identity was invented in the 1800s. As a 44 year old developer who has been a developer (professionally) for over 20 years, and as a hobby for 32 years, I am completely the opposite. I love and embrace AI constantly. I am always amazed by the things I am able to do with it, they way It's made me think outside the box, and also the enjoyment I've had from experiencing other languages I wouldn't have learnt due to time constraints.

Ενώ έχουν γραφτεί πολλά καλλιτεχνήματα για καταθλιπτικά Χριστούγεννα (James Joyce, Dickens, Tom Waits, Παπαδιαμάντης, Thomas Hardy κοκ), δεν έχει γραφτεί σχεδόν τίποτα αντίστοιχο για το Πάσχα, κάτι που αποδεικνύει την επίδραση του ανοιξιάτικου καιρού στην καλλιτεχνική δημιουργία.

Φαντάζομαι ότι σύντομα θα έρθει ένα μέλλον που η πλήρως αυτόματη οδήγηση θα είναι τόσο καλή που δεν θα χρειάζονται οδηγοί. Θα γίνει πρώτα σε όλες τις χώρες στο κόσμο. Από τις τελευταίες χώρες θα είναι η Ελλάδα όπως συνήθως σε κάθε τεχνολογική καινοτομία. Όχι γιατί αυτή η μελλοντική τεχνολογία δεν θα μπορέσει να λειτουργήσει στην πολύπλοκη οδηγική καθημερινότητα της Ελλάδας. Μάλλον γιατί πχ θα τα κάνουν γυαλιά καρφιά οι οδηγοί ταξί. Ένα παράδειγμα είναι αυτό, αλλά φαντάζομαι θα υπάρξουν και άλλες αντιδράσεις.
