Gonna be a big test for our mids this week to see how they respond after last week. This one’s not just about performance, it’s about intent and pride. They’re coming up against a Port midfield that will be just as hungry to bounce back on their home deck, so there’ll be nowhere to hide. Butters, Rozee and Horne-Francis is a serious challenge, and we’ll get a pretty clear look at where we’re really at and whether our mids are up for the fight. Hawthorn deserves to win this. They have been fantastic. We have been woefully poor. The only reason it’s not 100 points is because Hawks missed some easy ones. Essendon were comprehensively outworked and outplayed. “Work to do” @essendonfc Massive understatement.
