Even for small events, garbage collectors demand ₹500 - 2000 just to pick up banana leaf waste. Last month someone in our are paid 2500 to pick those waste. We need better planning + accountability, not just lectures on civic sense.

Garbage on Bengaluru roads isn’t just about civic sense, it’s a system failure too. BBMP collection comes once in 2 days in many areas. Meanwhile 15–20% of residents travel home on weekends or monthly, so waste piles up and ends up on roads on alternative day. Continued
