@AirIndiaX, today one of your pilots, Capt. Virender Sejwal, assaulted me physically at T1, Delhi Airport. Here are the facts of the matter,: 🔸 Me & my family were guided to use the security check that the staff uses (also the PRM check), because we had a 4 month old baby in a stroller. 🔸 The staff was cutting the queue ahead of me. On calling them out, Capt. Virender, who himself was doing the same thing, asked me if I was anpadh (uneducated), and couldn't read the signs that said this entry was for staff. 🔸 A verbal scuffle broke out. 🔸 Not able to excercise restraint, the AIX pilot proceeded to physically assault me, leaving me bloody. The blood in the photograph (first comment) on his shirt is also mine. Here are my issues with the whole thing: 🔹 My holiday is ruined. The first thing I have done here is see a doctor. 🔹 My 7 year old daughter, who saw her father get assaulted brutally, is still traumatized & scared. 🔹 I have no clue how @DGCAIndia & @AirIndiaX can allow such pilots to fly. If they can't keep their cool in a scuffle, can they be trusted with the lives of hundreds of people in the sky? 🔹 How can @DelhiAirport get away with such mismanagement, combining staff entry with passengers carrying infants, creating chaos at a sensitive security area? I thought Airports were safe places! 🔹 I was forced to write a letter stating that I will not pursue this matter further ... It was either write that letter, or miss my flight and throw the 1.2 lakhs holiday bookings down the drain. @DelhiPolice, why can't I file a complaint after coming back? Must I sacrifice my money too, to seek justice? Will the CCTV footage disappear in the 2 days till I make it back to Delhi? To my friends & well wishers, I am pretty shaken, but nothing permanent. Can't say the same about my daughter though. 😢

🚨 My Second Tip for Japan: Luggage Forwarding It doesn’t make sense to drag your luggage in street and in the railway station. Forward your luggage to the next destination and travel hassle free. It is very good and totally worth the cost. 👍 In fact you can do something like this: Kyoto —> forward to Tokyo; then you can visit Hiroshima with minimal luggage 😀 💲 How much does it cost? It depends. We forwarded 3 bag (2 big) and a small which was heavy also which costed 6,649 JPY which is like Rs 3,900. This also allows you to take trains, subways instead of taxi, etc. Absolutely worth it.

@Sandys_kami @pointspro Being a new property they're very particular about the 2 adults policy. But you could call them and have a chat about the kid. Shouldn't be a problem

🚨 Four Points by Sheraton Chennai still has 5k per night rooms! There are still 5k and many 5.5k per night rooms still available. This is a solid deal for 5-6k points a night. 👍

@pointspro MB app not showing points required for this property although when BOOK WITH POINTS is selected. It is showing only in INR. How r u getting this option?

@pointspro @AjitInduchudan Not a dedicated lounge. But they'll arrange for Happy hours in their bar called The Liquid Library. They're just waiting for the licence. And they do have a pool. Someone told me otherwise yesterday. So looks like a good option overall for under 10k points.

😬 Marriott has increased award redemption rates? Masai Mara now has many 236k per night awards and 944k for 5 nights. Wow!! Doha, Qatar has also increased slightly by 10%. However not seeing any more adverse rates. Maybe this is a cue. Just make the booking that you are eyeing. Anyway it is free cancellation only. Any other hotel(s) that has increased?

@AjitInduchudan @pointspro No alcohol yet but you can get milkshakes, juices and starters etc even right now. Once they get licence would mostly be a full fledged lounge.

@AjitInduchudan @pointspro Yeah right. Meant Four Points. Stayed last night. Liked their Breakfast.. Alcohol licence they're saying they'll get by end of March.. No pool was a bummer. Decent business property.

@pointspro Not yet. Needed a few rooms for Mar 1. Was 5.5k till last night. 7k now. Heard from someone that breakfast was decent but the property itself was so so. Liquor licence will take 6 months and they've a lounge without alcohol for now.

@Vishy308 Ohh, yeah. The minimum is 26k now for 5 nights. Did you book or get a chance to check the hotel?

@pointspro This is right across the road from where I live. With Platinum status this is one of the best value for point redemptions..

While this is not a resort or a fancy hotel, I love that we can stay for 5k a night in a Tier 1 city. The location is also not bad! What do you think?
