@dbssteeler29754 @ShawnRyan762 @_pblanknews Even if you got 50% libertarians in office you wouldn't get anarchy.
There are some AnCaps/AnComs in the LP that would advocate it but they are a minority and would never get their way anyway. It's just not in the nature of the populace to not have some govt.
English

@Vitasecurus @ShawnRyan762 @_pblanknews My point is anarchy is chaos. There must be some rules and laws. No society has ever survived "do as thou wilt" as the only philosophy it is built on.
English

There’s constant banter, but very few real solutions.
I had a lengthy discussion with Cenk Uygur, and while we may not agree on everything, I do believe there are areas where people from different sides can come together.
What do you think about the idea of a new party?

English

@dbssteeler29754 @ShawnRyan762 @_pblanknews The DNC has been corrupted by progressive communists, the RNC by Zionist RINOs and warhawks.
What’s your point?
The thing is, if you elect some libertarians you won’t wake up to anarchy but they may actually make some progress in combatting government growth and spending.
English

@Vitasecurus @ShawnRyan762 @_pblanknews The libertardians have been coopted by anarchists. They are not a viable option.
English

@Brianhelt674541 @ShawnRyan762 @_pblanknews By what measure?
I’m a libertarian and like many, I voted for Trump.
Republicans make campaign promises like libertarians then govern like democrats from 10 years ago.

Targeting @RepThomasMassie is an egregious breach of the President’s promise to put Americans first. With a flood of dirty cash, Pres. Trump made this race a national referendum on self determination and the consent of the governed. We must now fight for Kentucky—nationally—in order to Rescue the Republic.
I’m donating to Massie’s campaign, and helping spread the word. I hope you will as well. We must draw a line—and hold it.

Her book is pretty good at explaining a large number of inconsistent facts.

People think they know what they saw, because they were told to see a "collapse", but in actual fact, it was a disintegration on a molecular level.

It feels like that because “we” are
Clint Russell@LibertyLockPod
It feels like we're putting our ships in harm's way only to justify restarting the war.

Not at all. The lions reaction is the rudimentary (call it proto) concept of property. “This is mine”.
Like I said, not the more advanced/complex way we view property.
But the point is more about agency than property. A lion has agency and wants to do what it wants to do. This is a form of expressing ownership. The control of “property”.
Your body is the property of you, the entity with agency.
Someone may make a claim on your body (like was done with slaves) but doesn’t have true ownership. True ownership would mean there is no authority higher than you in order to control your property. In that sense even the slaver had to get permission from the slave in order for them to pick cotton.
Granted the slaver would use psychological and physical threats which may be successful but it was still a negotiation (I use the term loosely) with the actual owner.
English

@Vitasecurus @paleochristcon @ReallyAmerica We have a concept of property. We even have norms which are written and encoded. The lion does not have a written or even verbal articulated language, let alone norms. You confuse the reaction of a lion in your example with a similar human reaction ignoring the origins.
English

Not like we do. But they understand the basic premise. Try to take a gazelle leg from a lion.
But they have agency, and as such own themselves. You cannot make an animal do what it doesn't want to do. You can try to trick it, train it, capture it, use force. Those may work, usually do, but ultimately they own the decisions. They own themselves.
English

@Vitasecurus @paleochristcon @ReallyAmerica Non human animals dont have a concept of property. Let us be serious here.

@OwenBenjamin If you don't have all the variables you can't do the math. Just wishful thinking for creationists.
English

Now that evolution has been proven to be mathematically impossible (read Vox day’s probability zero) the atheists seem to be pivoting to the origin of life being aliens or that we live in a computer program.
I highly recommend just acknowledging that we were created by God and just be really grateful for that. But I guess aliens and dmt code is better for people actively enthusiastic about sodomy and murder.
English

@paleochristcon @pureMetatron Are you aware of some denomination that openly and universally declares that it is acceptable to have homosexual leaders (pastors, ministers, priests, etc.)?
English

Since I publicly said I’m going to raise my child Christian, people have been leaving comments that look like this.
Make sure he is protestant, Catholics aren’t Christians.
Make sure he is Catholic, only Catholics are Christians.
And every other flavor.
I’m gonna say it bluntly.
If you believe Jesus is God and you believe He was resurrected, you’re a Christian.
I don’t care which version. Still fits the definition.
The doctrinal differences on everything else could make you right or wrong on doctrine, but you are still a Christian no matter if Orthodox, Catholic and ALL the rest.
The idea of denominational exclusivity whereby ONLY your single version makes you a Christian is SATANIC and of the Devil.
He wants to push people away from considering themselves Christians.
The Lord wants us all to come to Him.
I’m NOT willing to change my mind on this view.
English

@Dr_SlopLord @paleochristcon @ReallyAmerica @JDStokes79 If you aren't slashing and gutting enough to noticeably reduce spending, you aren't slashing and gutting enough.
English

@Vitasecurus @paleochristcon @ReallyAmerica @JDStokes79 GOP already slashes regulations and guts agencies, that is the most pragmatic "libertarian" you're going to get because there is no "L" on the ticket...it's going to forever be GOP Congress members who say "i'm a libertarian, akschulley' at parties
English

@LndamyDark Every single house has it. It’s mandatory and you can’t change it. Also there’s bears and Wendigos, heat seeking attack bees, and allergies like you can’t imagine.
Move somewhere else.
English

Top marginal rates weren't the effective rate. It's always been around 30%.
However, post WWII the US was the only country largely unscathed by the war. We had a virtual monopoly and even that wasn't good enough, so we went off the gold standard and tried a bunch of accounting tricks to get to where we are today.
Reductions in spending and fraud/waste are the only ways to do this.
English

If the government stole every penny from every billionaire*, leaving them with nothing, that would cover one year of federal spending. You’d have no more billionaires to tax the follow year, and you would not have made a dent in the debt. The problem is spending.
* This is actually impossible due to how net worth is calculated, but let’s pretend it’s not for the sake of argument.

@PersimmonHunter @paleochristcon @sfluizawer Nah, they just aren't dropping those standards low enough or in the right places. There's a lady out there that is also meeting your criteria and just giving it out to anyone so she can stay in the "not involuntarily celibate" category 😂
English

@Vitasecurus @paleochristcon @sfluizawer She has agree to have sex with him. Even the ugly women have high standards.
English

@PersimmonHunter @paleochristcon @sfluizawer Then define involuntary. Won't sleep with just anyone who walks by? Anyone, even men, can lower their standards to the point of picking up any old hog (see image above).
