I don’t understand how Matty P wasn’t in the NHL this year. He’s better than Reichel. He’s bigger than Kuraly. He should’ve been in the NHL getting in his reps even if it was bottom 6. He’s a tremendous passer and he does not shy away from the puck as seen in the playoffs down in the AHL.

@_TyAnderson David Pastrnak is supposed to be a top 6/7 (at worst) player in the nhl. I haven’t seen him take over a big game in at least 2 years. Tage took over game 1. Pasta is supposed to be a franchise player. Need more from him. He’s supposed to score 50 and didn’t crack 30.

I think many of you are going way way waaaaaay overboard with this lol. It's been a bad series for him by his standards so far. He's still an immensely talented player who can snap out of it and make an impact. Foolish to think otherwise. Just saying he's gotta do that.

@BruinsNetwork He’s a very smart player and great defensively. Offensive spark hasn’t been there. Maybe overthinking plays with the puck (mishandling and whiffing on 1 Ts).

I appreciate the passion for the up and coming but it’s clouding judgement at times. Moments a bit big for Hagens right now. Game off could do a lot of good.

Well, considering their lack of urgency and ability to get shots off cleanly, having a fast, high-volume shooter like Eyssimont does make sense. That said, Hagens and his line looked excellent in games one and two so judging him based on tonight isn’t fair IMO. #NHLBruins

And yes, I know about his “point per game” average. It doesn’t matter.

Similar to game one, lack of transition, inability to clear the puck and too much running around tired out Boston. Pastrnak, McAvoy, E/H Lindholm and your best players struggled immensely with the puck on their sticks. Sturm and Spott failed to make needed adjustments. #NHLBruins
