. @nikitabier you know who can aggregate for Big Social better than 10,000 copy/paste accounts? Big Social. Allow "Repost to Tiktok" and "Repost to Instagram", with account linking. Tag it with "Posted from X, Source post here", and you will get traffic back to X. If it works, the other Social Networks will follow suit, and Original Creators will be able to increase their following outside of their "home base". Huge value to creators, huge increase in Payout accuracy to Original Authors. Aggregator accounts still get some Reward for re-posting from other networks, but the original creator now is able to directly capture this revenue in their place on other networks by checking a box in X somewhere and logging in to your other Social accounts.

The NY Post just ran a hit piece on AOC for spending $19K on a psychiatrist who specializes in ketamine therapy. If the details are accurate, this might be one of the best decisions a sitting member of Congress has made for their mental health in years. Let me explain why. AOC hired Dr. Brian Boyle, a Harvard-trained interventional psychiatrist and chief psychiatric officer at Stella, one of the leading clinics in the country for treatment-resistant PTSD, depression, and anxiety. This isn't some fringe move. This is exactly the kind of psychiatric care that veterans, first responders, and high-performing executives are quietly seeking out because traditional approaches aren't cutting it. And AOC has been consistent on this for years. She introduced her first amendment to fund psychedelic research back in 2019, when even her own party voted it down. She tried again in 2021. On her third attempt in 2023, she co-sponsored a bill with Dan Crenshaw (a Republican combat veteran) that was signed into law. Read that again: AOC and Crenshaw, on the same bill, for psychedelic medicine, in a Congress that can't agree on lunch. She also openly discussed going to therapy after January 6th, at a time when most politicians would rather pretend they're invincible. Whether you agree with her politics or not, that kind of transparency about mental health from someone in public office is rare and, frankly, needed. We put people in roles with extraordinary psychological pressure, constant public scrutiny, genuine threats to their safety, and decision-making that affects millions of lives. And then we mock them when they seek out the most effective psychiatric care available? Ketamine-assisted therapy is FDA-approved (as Spravato/esketamine) for treatment-resistant depression. The research on ketamine for PTSD and anxiety is growing rapidly. Clinics like Stella are doing legitimate, clinician-supervised work, not handing out party drugs. If anything, we should be asking why more leaders aren't exploring these tools. The political world has become so polarized and psychologically corrosive that burnout, anxiety, and trauma responses aren't just possible for people in these roles. They're almost inevitable. Maybe the real scandal isn't that AOC might be utilizing ketamine-assisted therapy. Maybe it's that she's the only one honest enough to invest in it. What would shift in our political culture if we actually encouraged leaders to take their mental health as seriously as their campaign strategy?

I'm based in France, but 43% of my audience is American. I know many of us are in the same situation. To reach a wider audience, all my posts are in English, the international language. Those who cause trouble may be punished, but with this change, which will significantly reduce our earnings, you're also penalizing a number of accounts that use the international language without any ill intent. X tells us that videos and new, high-quality content will be prioritized, but this change will, on the contrary, drastically reduce our earnings. Is there any way to reverse this decision, please?🥺 @XCreators @X @nikitabier @elonmusk

Starting Thursday, we'll be updating our revenue sharing incentives to better reward the content we want on X: We will be giving more weight to impressions from your home region—to encourage content that resonates with people in your country, in neighboring countries and people who speak your language. While we appreciate everyone's opinion on American politics, we hope this will disincentivize gaming the attention of US or Japanese accounts and instead, drive diverse conversations on the platform. We invite creators to start building an audience locally. X will be a much richer community when there's relevant posts for people in all parts of the world.

Sen Markwayne Mullin on the DHS shutdown: "We have 280,000 DHS employees right now that are on day 30 without pay and they're still showing up every single day to do their job." "That is a dedicated group of people. And we should all be proud of them. We should all be working together. We should all be trying to fund them." "So I pray, seriously, I pray that we can get past this. That once this hearing is over and once we go through this process, I get it. I get some of it's gotta be political theater. I understand it. I've had to really pray about my attitude." "But I will say. Once it's over, I hope we can work together and get them funded. So when I walk in, if I'm fortunate enough to be confirmed, if I walk in as secretary, that these guys are ready to go to work day one. So God bless you. Thank you so much for this opportunity. I look forward to your questions."
Wall Street Mav@WallStreetMav

🚨 Sen. Bernie Moreno (R-Ohio) on DHS nominee Markwayne Mullin: "You will be confirmed!, You're a good man...you talk from the heart. And that's okay. You are who you are. You don't apologize for being yourself. And sometimes we're imperfect." "Do you pledge to support and defend the United States of America nearly as much as you would protect and defend your family?" Markwayne Mullin: "Without doubt, sir. Yes." MORENO: "So I'm going to ruin everything for the audience. You will be confirmed. You will have the job and you're going to make this country safer and better. And for that, I thank you and thank your family for supporting you!"

@tszzl @scottastevenson Except it is a 10 minute change. It is introduced by the System Prompt. The key change is removing the text "useful assistant" somewhere from the System Prompt, and voila no more "assistant-like sycophancy".

The default writing style of ChatGPT makes me nauseous. I’m sick of seeing it in X comments, blog posts, emails, memos and ChatGPT itself. It’s out of fashion, the flavor has grown stale. I use Claude just to escape it. Very simple fix for OpenAI: change the secret system prompt to abolish this tiresome tone. Or create a more automatic way for people to give it their own tone. This feels like an instance where a 10 minute change could make a product 2x better

The first homes will be ready by late April thanks to the efficiency of our proprietary building process. Excited for this one!

Does anyone have a good explanation to why the em dash (—) is rendered out so much by LLMs The explanation is always that it's in the training data a lot. I don't think that's true at all. And why is it so hard to get LLM's to stop using them?

Absolutely yes, if all LLM content was good you could argue it doesn't matter, but they hallucinate many things. It causes a heavy cognitive load to determine if something is true or not. At least the em dash tells me it was from a Large Language slop machine, and it is not worth scrutinizing.
