@tphillips @TheStalwart There will always be buyers of LUNA, I think this has been made obvious over the past couple days. Asking if people would stay if something went to zero seems kind of silly as obviously it won’t go to zero. If anything the price falls and people just buy larger amounts of LUNA.

@VocalDAO @TheStalwart But will they stay if LUNA goes to zero? If the redemption model for UST is to redeem for LUNA until it gets back up to $1, that's going to push LUNA to $0 (or CLOSE to that to account for whatever fiat is backing UST)

@tphillips @TheStalwart The price has already decreased massively to account for exactly what you’re asking. Of course $0 is ridiculous as LUNA has an entire ecosystem, developers, a massive community and literally everyone in crypto will know their name and check their price forever.

@TheStalwart @tphillips That’s why the price is low, it already reflects this dilution. The marketcap is far lower than it has been in the past, even with the increase in supply. The market cap could 20X and still be under where it has been before.

@tphillips So when you go to redeem $UST, it creates fresh $LUNA tokens. So it will keep drifting up towards $1, but at the expense of diluting the hell out of existing $LUNA holders.

@cryptomodest Of course it will. Yes, people lost money but a lot of people also made a ridiculous amount of money as well. They were attacked and the majority of the crypto community piled on and shorted it. Eventually people will look at LUNA as a juggernaut.

$UST is make its way back to $1.00! When it hits $1.00 people will still be scared but there is no way $LUNA should only be around a dollar. I think eventually it’ll be sitting around $15 and people will be like, “Why didn’t I buy it at $1?”

@iamlukedaniels I think they were targeted for being too successful honestly. Like I said, there is definitely a group of people who were in on this. Way too many coincidences.

At the current burn rate, I'd expect $UST back at peg in around 16 hours. Of course, the burn rate will decrease as we approach peg. Take that as you will. Maybe I'm delusional. Maybe I'm not.
