@adrianleemann Good question! Forensics is definitely one of the topics represented at VoiceID, so there's some overlap. VoiceID is trying to have a broader remit though to bring together people working on voices from forensics, psychology, neuroscience, engineering, etc.

@justinjhlo Sorry, we got the dates wrong in the tweet above (now deleted and fixed!). The conference is taking place on the 28th - 30th :).

I had the pleasure to attend the first interdisciplinary conference on Voice Identity @VoiceIDConf which ended today with very motivating future perspectives. We’ve seen neurologists, biologists, computer engineers, linguists and forensic linguists among other fields experts.
