The toolkit will serve as a practical resource for local governments, offering data-driven insights, innovative approaches, and strategies to improve access to affordable housing for low- and middle-income households. On the sidelines of #UNGA80, @AfDBPresident Sidi Ould Tah has affirmed his commitment to the establishment of an African guarantee mechanism. He said this at a meeting with South African President @CyrilRamaphosa. Dr Ould Tah noted that the mechanism will make access to capital easier and more affordable for African countries.

A New Chapter for Africa’s Development ✨ Shelter Afrique Development Bank (ShafDB) was honored to witness the swearing-in ceremony of Dr. Sidi Ould TAH, the 9th President of the African Development Bank Group (AfDB) @AfDB_Group, held on September 1, 2025, in Abidjan.
