like ive tried putting on girl clothes and i dont look like a girl. i dont even look like a clocky trans woman. i just look like a dude who put on a dress as a joke.

like i see pictures of other trans women, even clocky ones, and am insanely jealous that they get too just like, exist as women. like i dont even look remotely close enough to a women to be able to experience that and its just so demotivating

is passgen still good. like do they give out good advice or is just super weighted to one side or the other

how do you get yourself to not give up on transition when passing or even looking decent seems impossible. like i wanna look cis and the fact that i cant even get close just makes everything in life seem pointless

@bloodstreamrunz plus it doesnt work that well. most people can pick up on something and the constant "um what r ur pronouns" or malefailing is like a lil mocking gesture of what could be if i had the courage

@bloodstreamrunz ive seen nonpassing transwomen get phds and high level jobs. i dont doubt its rare but its not a black and white scenario. long term boymoding just kills any motivation to move forward with life or transition because you become so disconnected from the world around you.

boymoding while careermaxxing in your 20's until you're financially well off and then girlmoding when you are secure and passing is just the best of both worlds and also the optimal strategy for transitioning

@catkaldir idk anecdotally it helped with for me, couldve just been the weight cycling on its own but the change in insulin processing and increase in appetite made that much more possible as i struggled b4 due to disorder eating and stuff

The data we have is on patients that are diabetic and have an underlying insulin disorder. @burnthelilacs yes this is like in my top 3 dysphoria things, its caused by larger iliac has to do with how long the pelvis is allowed to grow. it makes the hip "taller" in general and even early hrt making hips wider doesnt cover it up
