Last thought on the Bryce Underwood overreaction. For those saying “he should be better than this” let’s be real for a second. You put sky high expectations on a 17–18 year-old kid before he ever played a single down of college football. Now, after four weeks with a QB coach, you expect everything to be magically fixed? That’s not how this works. Don’t project your own expectations onto Bryce. He’s not responsible for the playoff or national title dreams fans built up in their heads. He’s a young quarterback developing in real time. Maybe it’s time to shift the mindset these are still kids out there. Let them grow, let them learn, and stop turning every rep into a final judgment. You’ll enjoy the ride a lot more if you do.
