The moment we demanded you put steel in the water and actual skin in the game...after you spent years hollowing out your own militaries to fund your green fantasies and welfare states...you reverted to type. You offered press releases. You offered “coalition talks.” You offered every elegant euphemism for cowardice while we and the Israelis reopened the artery you were perfectly willing to let bleed out. @StatisticUrban The metric system is built for individuals who are bad at math. The imperial system is built in units that correspond to nature (i.e.- one foot is roughly comparable to a human foot). Metric units work well with small measurements but don't work well with large measurements.

It's insane to me that most Americans can't even comprehend metric units and Celsius without converting. I understand it's not the system used, but it IS the international system, used in all scientific fields and ~every other country. Useful to at least instill the basics.

One thing that I have learned by going back and forth with Europeans about NATO is their delusion is staggering. They put out infographics about how they “pay 90% of their own defense” while their militaries cant field a combat-ready division without calling Washington. They tell us to pull out while fighting a war with US weapons. They say nobody gives a F*ck anymore while their entire security architecture runs on American hardware, American intel, and American nukes they dont have. And then in the next breath they lecture us about healthcare. You want to know why we dont have socialized healthcare and maternity leave? Because for 75 years the money went to defending a continent that has benefited so much from the US, that they think it’s easy. The entitlement is just annoying.

Since the end of the war, these three nations have relied on the US to carry the weight of defending the West. Europe can do much more.

The entire foreign policy of Trump's second term has been focused on ending the BRICs alliance. Failure is not an option.
