@WCSoftballLife @GoldenEagleJav @espnW Hopefully that play will be the push that is needed to integrate replay for these athletes. It’s unacceptable to have something that could be easily overturned have that sort of impact. No excuses for it not to be in the Playoffs.

@WCSoftballLife @espnW Nor did I say they did. But he was 15’ out of position... that’s inexcusable at the WCWS. I won’t defend this call at all. Sure, replay would help. But the umpire was grossly negligent in making this call.

It is what it is under current rules All the complaining in the world doesn’t chNge it.There is not a player on that field tonight that hasn’t benefited from a wron bad call at some point it’s part of the game.
