Fresh, new habitat refuges for small mammals and other wildlife on Hackney Marshes grassland. These safe zones form stepping stones, part of the new ecological connectivity between the Old Lea and the Lea Navigation, the aim of this year’s project.

@PeterFox61 Poppycock. It’s one of our most important native wild flowers and supports a vast array of pollinators. There’s no requirement to control it and proven cases of harm to livestock are exceptionally rare. Animals avoid it. Proper fact checking prevents public ridicule!
