@GarryBeggBC Bc public sector doubled. 15 billion added in new operating debt this year alone. Homeless, addicts, crime everywhere. Emergency rooms that can’t open. This government has done nothing in 8 years but still blames the liberals. Get bent @GarryBeggBC

@GarryBeggBC How’s the Massey crossing coming along? Could have been done 8 years ago but NDP can’t govern. Worst government in the history of B.C.

ICYMI: In 2023, former VicPD Chief Del Manak’s response got noticed (87,000 views on the tweet below) pushing back against Victoria Councillor Mat Dell’s criticisms of VicPD’s social media use. Last week, Councillor Dell (who I contend is far more cunning than he gets credit for) tried much of his 2023 question again with a different police chief (perhaps hoping he would get a different answer, which he knew was on record because of the 87,000 views on the initial post). Did the new police chief realize she was walking into a potential trap to highlight contradictions between her approach and Manak’s? Because that’s what Councillor Dell appears to have been trying to establish… (Also, it wasn’t dog kicking in 2023. It was guns being pulled out of housing facilities, leading to online commenters calling Victoria a “sh_t hole,” which is important.) Here’s the Sept 18, 2025 question and answer with Wilson versus the 2023 question and answer with Manak. Make up your own minds! #yyj

Wow. Honeymoon over. Today @mattdellok attacked @vicpdcanada’s social media use, accusing the department of spreading fear, referencing a recent post about guns removed from supportive housing. Do you agree with @mattdellok? Let us know in the replies below. #yyj

@VancouverSun So we're just openly ok with racism now @VancouverSun ? China bad - Europe good? We should pay $1.2 billion more to not have it be from China, because, racism? From your own story "Farnworth said, is that there were no Canadian bids for the contract". So if not Canada, who?

@iiiitsandrea Single serving everything makes it more expensive. Tough road to go down.. completely understand the convenience but the consumer always pays for that

That's a wrap on Day Two of #SENA24! The 16th Annual Oyster Shucking Competition was a definite highlight of the day, with Boston's own Devon Rutter taking home the grand prize! Thank you to all of our shuckers!

This Bob Seger line nails what it’s like to be 20 years into your career: “I wish I didn’t know now what I didn’t know then” When I hear a business idea, my brain instantly projects 10 steps ahead. “Oof that sounds really hard” “Ugh will require a lot of people” “I tried that before and it didn’t work” It’s a lot easier to motivate yourself to climb a mountain when you don’t know about all the challenges to come.

I'm a broken record here, but Canada doesn't actually have all that much historical precedent for nightly masked hate mobs intimidating private businesses and openly calling for "intifada." We're not Europe or the US; this kind of disorder is pretty new territory for us.

🧵 Protesters head to the alley behind Yuk Yuk’s to ensure both building entrances are covered. The stated goal of the demonstration was to shut down the “Stand Up for Israel” fundraiser. #cdnpoli #Toronto #Palestine #Israel #Gaza #ProtestMania
