🚛If you'd like the wheels on your bus or truck to continue going round and round, make sure you're checking your wheels. This truck was stopped in Skagit County on I-5. A majority of these lug nuts were loose or missing on these two wheels! Truck was placed out of service.

I-5 Marysville⛓️🚨 This is another post to remind you to conduct your pre-trip inspections. The pintle hook broke off the truck hauling this trailer causing it to become wedged under a passing log truck. The safety chains had broken, and the breakaway wasn't connected.

This truck was stopped by CVEOs for hauling this boat on a flatbed trailer on I-5 in Stanwood today. It was over 16’ tall and over 11’ wide, had no pilot cars or permit.

Another reminder that chains are required to be carried on vehicles over 10,000lbs GVW on our passes. CVEO Officers and CVD Troopers worked a 2 day chain enforcement emphasis earlier this month. 146 commercial vehicles inspected, and 64 chain violations found. (Snoqualmie. Pass)

Exhibit A of the importance of taking your pre-trip inspections seriously. This trailer frame broke while the truck was driving down the road on I-5 in Snohomish County.

This happened on 18 near the Green River Bridge. Motorcycle slowed to let traffic merge due to a barrel in the road. The semi was not able to stop in time. Thankfully only minor injuries. The truck apparently had major brake issues.

A semi-truck was hauling this load of hay and was stopped for not securing their load (at all!) on SR904 in Cheney. It was placed OOS for the load securement violation, as well as issues with the trailer brakes, and suspension. #SecureYourLoad

the air compressor couldn't keep up with the air leaks, 55 gallon drums filled with diesel were stacked on each other and secured with bungee cords, the hitch receiver was homemade and was not securely fastened to the frame, and the "co-driver" was operating the towed vehicle.

This combination was stopped by one of our CVEOs in Whatcom County. In total, 23 violations were noted on an inspection. To name a few, there were multiple unsecured items of cargo, 50% of the brakes were inoperative, both safety chains connecting the truck were defective,
