They were selected as sophomores, and they just completed their senior years as a part of our program. Brooke and Addisyn, thank you for helping build ASFL Soccer. It has already become a multi-state department and has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for cancer research. Everyone sees the sports side of ASFL, but we’re a cancer research charity that uses sports, not the other way around. At the ASFL Gauntlet midnight ceremony we take the time to explain specifically what our players are funding. It was great to be able to share some images from the recent groundbreaking clinical trial from Dr. Choi and Dr. Curry at @MGHCancerCenter. Our athletes only see the sports side of ASFL in their experience with us, but this is what they’re actually doing as a part of our organization. Those sitting here as well as everyone (including alumni) in all of our departments are meaningfully contributing to cutting edge research that impacts real people with real lives and real families. We have grown exponentially in recent years because we are driven by impact, and it is our mandate to continue to grow as aggressively as possible as we strive to give more patients an opportunity at an effective treatment 💙 #ASFL
