Teachers are getting an approximate $50 a month raise, they will still be making less than they did 10 years ago. I’m not standing for that, when legislators voted themselves a $500 a month raise this year.

Anyone paying attention will tell you that Joe Biden's immigration policies created the criminal, humanitarian, and political crisis at the border. The gimmicks and shell games are disingenuous and won't change the FOUR-FOLD influx of illegal crossings since Biden took office.

@TonosNeely @VoteGloriaJ I would agree w/that partially. Only in the hourly wage employee area though. That overtime pay is like 1.5 x hr wage Salaried employees totally diff. I never got paid for my extra time when worked in IT. Often had to be on call 24/7 and even work one or two weekends a month.

@WTH_News_Net @VoteGloriaJ Most of my friends who work for the private sector do work 40 hour weeks unless they are the actual owner of a business. They get overtime when they work longer or cover for their coworkers. We don’t get paid for the extra hours of work put into the job.

@TonosNeely @VoteGloriaJ Those are fair points to consider. I would ask, is that going off the assumption that privs only work at or near 40 hrs? If you can provide some source material for your points, I would be happy to read. I'm always open to having my mind changed & learn something new.

@WTH_News_Net @VoteGloriaJ If you were to compare the number of hours most teachers put into their job to those in the private sector, it is close to the same amount of time, even with those holidays and the two months of summer. We also have to get inservice hours and training during those “off” days.

@clownworld Immigrants are great. When they come here respecting the laws from day 1. I have a crapload of respect for the ones that follow the process. Especially, while watching 100s of 1000s play the system & jump the line in front of them.
