Around 2018/19, Amooti volunteered his car, fully branded it, and used it to transport people from place to place out of his love and support for Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba. Today he is in custody. It’s heartbreaking. When I visited him, I found him weak and on medication. If he develops complications or something worse happens, it will be on all of us who kept quiet while one of our own was in custody.

@Owishemwe But it’s simple logic. Mobile money runs on MTN’s network. MTN is regulated by UCC So when the telecom network is restricted, everything riding on it goes off

Banange Uganda Airlines can test even its most hardcore supporters like me. Besides having an amazing crew.. dedicated to what they do… It doesn’t seem like customer experience is a priority. I’ve been calling their Entebbe line for days. It rings, no one answers. They used to have a useful WhatsApp line that was efficient and responsive. They started by ignoring messages. It’s now one tick. The major surgery required is no longer elective. It’s now an emergency!
