I didn't see this coming, I always thought that he'd end up at Liverpool. It shocks me that he's decided to work for a dictator who controls every department of this club. I honestly don't know what convinced Xabi to take this job when the four coaches before him decided to ran away from it. This summer will show whether he's his own man or a yes man, or if something has finally changed behind the scenes. I'll hold my judgment for now when it comes down to him, but it's still BlueCoOUT for me. One appointment doesn't change the fact that the same board and ownership are still running this club.

Chelsea have a chance to win back the support of the fans and players with the hiring of Alonso, they are big ifs, but what if they do tweak the model and cede more control to the manager? the model can be tweaked contrary to twitter financial experts, mainly through sales, and it seems that some actually never truly want the club to change because the content wouldn't be there for them otherwise, they would actually have to support Chelsea again!
