I'm happy to announce that we'll be starting development of this handy tool next week!
Our goal is to launch in early November.
Maybe I'll give sneak peeks here and there but I still don't want to reveal too much until we get close to the launch date.

I might be building a new online tool to compliment all ScatterVolt videos going forward. Might because we're still ironing out some goals & objectives, and I haven't given it the go ahead yet. I can't reveal much other than I'm passionate about it and I want to see it succeed.

In the New Year, I'll be joining the Chrome DevRel team at @Google as a Developer Relations Engineer working on Chrome Extensions. Really excited to help with building the future of the WebExtensions ecosystem, and making it the best it can be for everyone.

Some news: I'm moving on from @1Password at the end of the year. I feel incredibly lucky to have worked with so many great people on so many great projects, and I'm going to miss it hugely. Change is always hard but I'm going to take a lot of great memories away with me.

@oliverdunk_ So presumably only the first call has an impact, but being JavaScript I would not be surprised if the second addEventListener just fails silently😂

@WagwanNick In actual fact, they don't stack! According to the spec the only option that can cause the same function to be added twice is `capture`.

@oliverdunk_ Nice blog post, Oliver! I'd never heard of this approach to serverless websockets with AWS. I think you are being a tad unfair on GraphQL though - any opportunity to use that beauty should be taken in my opinion😂

I really like using AWS IoT Core for WebSockets, but all of the articles I've read make it sound scarier than it is, so I wrote my own!
