The brilliant Mark Gall bursts past Alan Payne, Terry French and Glen Cooper as Greenwich beat @OfficialWands 3-2 in a Kent League game at Harrow Meadow.

Shame there’s no mention of a famous FA cup win against southern league Maidstone in 1976 it was considered quite an upset at the time

The last meeting to date was in the Isthmian League Cup at Maidstone on 7/10/14 with the home side beating Isthmian North Cray 4-2 with Shaun Welford scoring twice. Maidstone have since reached the National League & last season finished 9th in the National South.

The game was played at Oxford Road and the team were known as Edgware at that time playing in the Athenian League. Cray who played in the London Spartan League Premier & won the title that year were beaten 3-2 with Steve Greenway and Pat Carey scoring.
