Anyone using Thika rd at Githurai, be aware of more than 10 young-men who wait for traffic to build up and start snatching phones from motorists, @DCI_Kenya something can be done, this trend is escalating real fast.

Currently attending a church service at the Ilchartuiyani Church of God in Transmara West Constituency, Kilgoris.
It is always refreshing to step away from the routine of parliamentary business and spend time in prayer, fellowship, and meaningful conversation with the people we serve.

This afternoon, I joined worshippers at Ilchartuiyani Church of God in Central Ward, Kilgoris Constituency.
I reminded the residents that after a prolonged period of court cases that delayed its reconstitution, we finally have a fully constituted IEBC. The commissioners have taken their oath and assumed office. It is now time to let them settle in and execute their constitutional mandate without political noise or pressure.
The Commission is tasked with registering new voters, audit and clean up the current register to remove the names of deceased voters, and oversee the long-overdue boundary review. With the support of the National Assembly, the IEBC should be able to carry out a credible electoral process.

Life is a continuous journey, and success is a constantly moving target. I warmly applaud our brilliant students for their resounding victory at the Huawei ICT Competition Global Final.
However, I also challenge them not to relent. Let this achievement be a stepping stone. Continue to push forward, and leverage emerging fields to create practical solutions for Kenya and the world.

Iftar, a time of reflection, unity, and gratitude. May this season strengthen our bonds and inspire us to serve with even greater purpose. #RamadanKareem

I further requested our people to also change the reputation we are creating as a hostile region particularly in public gatherings. Chebukati was both loved and criticized in equal measure-that is life. But today, let us focus on celebrating the remarkable man he was and the legacy he leaves behind.
I thanked leaders, friends, family and the great people of Kiminini for coming to pay their respects and honor his memory. Today, we stand together in gratitude, especially to the President, for standing with the Chebukati family, particularly during his illness.
I was accompanied by leaders including; Governor of Bungoma, H.E Kenneth Lusaka, Sen. David Wakoli, Sen. Allan Chesang, Hon. Innocent Mugabe, Hon. Ferdinard Wanyonyi, Hon. Didmus Barasa, Hon. Caleb Amisi, Hon. Kakai Bissau among other leaders.

This moment is not about politics, it is about giving a great man the respect and dignity he deserves as we lay him to rest. Trans Nzoia has lost, and Kenya has lost. As leaders, we must uphold the highest level of respect for his family and legacy.
I urged all leaders to conduct themselves with dignity because respect is earned. Kenya is bigger than any one individual, and we must unite for peace, security, and national stability.
The Sugoi-Turbo-Endebess road will be developed. I called on Members of Parliament from the western region to work together to ensure we help our people. If we unite, progress will follow; if we don’t, we will stall.

This evening, together with other leaders we condoled with late former IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati’s family at his home in Kiminini.
Chebukati was a man of great wisdom, integrity, and respect. He goes down in history books as the only IEBC Chair to preside over three general elections which were hotly contested.
He stood for truth and always challenged us to be great leaders, through him, we upheld integrity and fairness in this country as he upheld the tenets of a free, fair, credible and transparent process in the execution of his responsibilities.

Today, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and invaluable contributions of women in Kenya and around the world.
International Women’s Day is more than a moment of recognition, it is a call to action to ensure that every woman and girl has the opportunity to thrive, lead, and shape the future.
Women are the backbone of our families, the pillars of our communities, and the driving force of our nation. From boardrooms to farms, classrooms to the highest offices of leadership, their impact is undeniable.
While we honor the progress made, we must also acknowledge the challenges that remain, inequality, discrimination, and systemic barriers that continue to hold women back.
As a nation, let us commit to building a society where every woman’s voice is heard, every dream is valid, and every opportunity is within reach.
As former U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama said, "There is no limit to what we, as women, can accomplish." Today, I reaffirm my commitment to ensuring that our policies and laws reflect the dignity, equality, and empowerment of all women.
To the women of Kenya, you are seen, you are valued, and you are celebrated. May we continue to uplift, support, and champion one another, today and always.
Happy International Women’s Day!

This afternoon, I was represented by Ugenya Member of Parliament, Hon. David Ochieng, at the funeral service of former IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati at CITAM Karen.
In his sermon, Bishop David Oginde cautioned Kenyans to uphold the dignity of the departed and refrain from making a mockery of death to allow families to mourn in peace.
I laud the late Chebukati’s dedication to public service and his unwavering leadership during three highly contested presidential elections.
The legal fraternity, led by LSK President Faith Odhiambo, mourned a learned friend, and described him as calm, firm, and instrumental in shaping Kenya’s electoral system, its legal framework, and the jurisprudence of the office he held.
Former Attorney General Prof. Githu Muigai encouraged the family, emphasizing that Chebukati was held in the highest professional regard, a man of great moral and ethical courage.
May the late Wafula Chebukati’s soul rest in peace!🕊️
