It hit about 400 raw nerves at once, and was meant to. They marched right into the enemy camp, struck their banners, delivered a message, and walked out untouched. They found a chink in Smaug’s armor and took the initiative. The whole media was gobsmacked—and it showed. Boomercons are hopelessly confused. Feds! SPLC! Racists! White Supremacy! Absolutely Delightful! Best 4th of July ever. This is a fine example of classic American oratory. We have very little to disagree with here.
