NEWS: Twitter is working on limiting the ability to send DMs to people who don't follow you to Verified (Blue) users only. Also applies to creating group chats. This would nearly eliminate DM bot spam at a stroke.
Elon says his expectations aren’t that Twitter will be hugely profitable, but that it will make enough revenue to avoid the threat of bankruptcy if some advertisers leave, and to ensure some return for Twitter’s private investors. But the focus will not be optimizing profits.
