@Weather_West No ability to DM, apparently, but I've long been interested in giving Said Other Service a try (despite mostly being a lurker on this one). Happy to connect with anyone here who has an abundance of codes.
I have two more invitation codes (for folks who mutually follow and can DM me a request) for the Other Sky Site that is Blue. Also, I now have an account over on the Meta competitor app (T*****s) (weather.west). Still trying to get spun up on both; I'll eventually favor one.
Teams are working towards Thursday, April 20 for the first flight test of a fully integrated Starship and Super Heavy rocket → spacex.com/launches/missi…
@Chalance4@SpaceX@elonmusk Space, hopefully.
(But seriously, the booster will simulate a return but will ditch in the ocean near the launch site while Starship will do a partial orbit followed by reentry and ocean ditch near Hawaii)
T-12 hours until the first flight test of a fully integrated Starship and Super Heavy rocket; targeting ~8:00 a.m. CT for liftoff → spacex.com/launches
Star Trek Picard IMAX page is crashed, likely due to demand, giving me a 504 error. This is exceptionally disappointing, @gofobo.
If @StarTrek is busting sites like @taylorswift13 concerts, maybe @StarTrekOnPPlus should reconsider the paywall and utilize @cbs affiliate networks.
@GregoryMcNeal@StarTrekOnPPlus I sure called that. Told a friend of mine about an hour ago, "I sure hope the ticket site can handle the traffic so we don't have the same problem as the Taylor Swift tour!"
@HollowayGrant@TreyceJonesWX You’re probably thinking of “discreet” (being careful and unobtrusive or inconspicuous) as opposed to “discrete” (individually separate/distinct)
@TreyceJonesWX Help me understand the meaning of “discrete supercell”. That makes me think it’s hidden or sneaky, but we are clearly seeing this coming on the forecast. So what makes it “discrete?” I’ve scene other meteorologists use the term but don’t get it.
@goodlinksapp Just started using Goodlinks and really like it so far, but I can’t get it to save some WSJ articles locally, even though I’ve logged in through the app. It wants to open in the in-app browser instead. Help?
@1BlockerApp Thanks. Once I figured out the issue, I started switching the firewall off just long enough to add the tickets to the wallet. It just makes me wonder what else is getting through in that briefly wide open internet window… 👀
@WaltCF Hey,
Thank you for the feedback.
It seems that the app tries to send a tracking request in such cases.
Creating a shortcut automation to pause Firewall if the app is launched might work as a temporary solution:

@1BlockerApp Not sure if this is a known issue, but adding tickets to Wallet from the Southwest app doesn’t work without disabling #1blocker firewall first. Firewall whitelist feature pls??
