If Minnot is the better than any of the Nets 5 first round picks than Marks and the entire scouting department should be fired on the spot. I like Minnot, but that’s insane and doesn’t bode well for the rookies future

Im confused at people thinking Chet Holmgren is overrated. He's at worst a top 3 defender in the sport and he averages 17 and 9 on 56/36 splits 50% on long mid range shots 47% on short middies 77% at the rim 3 level scorer with elite defense.. how is that overrated?

@BillyReinhardt I have a hard time believing that MPJ will be in a hurry to sign an extension that is a pay-cut from his previous salary after a career year and him being the unquestioned best player on the roster.
Tough to justify him accepting less than what Mikal (150M) got

I’d value Michael Porter Jr. in the 20% of the cap range, maybe a bit more. I think a 3-$105M ($35M AAV) offer is a reasonable spot for negotiations.
The deal would tack three more years onto Porter Jr.’s deal, keeping him under contract through his age 31 season in 2029-2030.
