Every year, the @oxfordafrica Conference engages students and influential African leaders in discussions about the continent's future and its place in the world. This year, our founder, former President @MaEllenSirleaf, delivered remarks on the opening of the second day, encouraging attendees that "young Africans and allies who are forward-looking and passionate about the potential of the continent are the ones who can create this determined leadership movement." #AmujaeLeader @toumanjai1 participated as a panellist on "Navigating Democracy Dynamics in Contemporary Africa: Addressing Challenges and Embracing Opportunities." alongside @maudojallow, an advisor at the @InstituteGC; Kate O’Regan, Director at the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights and Former Judge for the South African Constitutional Court; and @edwinsifuna, Senator for Nairobi City Council. Moderated by @WantoetW, the panel delved into themes that lie at the heart of Africa’s progress and development, and how to harness the evolving landscape for a democratic Africa.
