@BattleRapBets I said the same thing on another post. He QUIT in January 2019. Didn’t even suit up to play against the lakers at the SKC. Pels went into the 2019 lottery with the 4th best odds and came out on top. AD was gone. Griff drafted Zion. End of story.

To be clear, that fragile mfker asked for a trade long before the draft and was hellbent on sucking off LeBron, he was NEVER staying and Ja Morant wasn’t gonna change his mind

Anthony Davis says when he was on the Pelicans he urged the GM David Griffin to pick Ja Morant over Zion in the draft. “If you can get Ja Morant at [number] one, then we've got a real conversation going on because I know how we can help our team with Jrue. Jrue gotta handle the ball, he loves to get people involved, but like, ‘Jrue, go score.' We got somebody else who can do that now and play-make. “But he [Griffin] was like, he can't, he's gotta take Zion. I just didn't see at the time where Zion and I would work. We're playing the same position. At this time, I would only play the four.” Davis was traded to the Lakers less a month after the Pels drafted Zion 😅 (via The Draymond Green Show)

@BootKreweMedia @ProPelsTalk @DraymondShow Nothing but propaganda! AD requested a trade in January of 2019. I remember he sat out so many games. Then in June of 2019 the Knicks, Cavaliers, and Suns entered the draft with the best odds to secure the first pick. It fell to the Pels. Griff picked Zion. End of story.
