Congratulations to over 200 2nd grade students of Wards 7 and 8 who completed our Biking Cornerstone program and learned to ride a bike! Each student received their own bike and gear thanks to our partnership with @dcbikeride. Can't wait to see scholars cruise through DC!🚲
Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) just asked for unanimous consent on Senate floor to repeal DC law allowing noncitizens to vote in local elections. Called DC a "warzone." Sen. Peter Welch (D-Vt.) objected, calling the law "settled local policy" and promoting home rule, so effort failed

I’ve heard that Councilmember @VinceGrayWard7 has had another health setback in recent days. I wish him a speedy recovery as he works his way back to important work with the Council and representing Ward 7.

#NEWS - DC Ward 7 Council member & former Mayor Vince Gray -Class of 64- to receive an honorary Doctor of Public Service degree Saturday at George Washington University’s commencement. Gray is the only DC politician to serve as council member, council chairman and mayor. @wcp
