I understand there are many moving parts and times are tough, but the unwillingness to fight is what bothers me the most. Hockey alumni has held up their end of the deal and the Volleyball and basketball teams were never in jeopardy until a day ago. @UofA_Augustana @CityofCamrose

I’m a proud Vikings hockey alumni member and I can say It’s very disappointing to see the short sightedness of the university.
Our group is going to do everything in its power to keep this program running.

We lose the Vikings & the $125,000 they provide to the city, it affects everyone as those costs have to be made up somewhere (increased rink fees, higher taxes). This doesn’t include all the untold volunteer hours from the athletes and coaching staff in the community.
