@RepDonBeyer You can't talk on behalf of all Americans, possiblyon behalf your constituents. The Islamic republic regime is a threat to many, including Americans. Anything other than total annihilation of a Jihadi ideology will just bring more misery upon peace-lovibg citizens of the world.

The U.S. must immediately make clear to Israel that the ceasefire agreement is not and cannot be functional without a ceasefire in Lebanon. The American people want this war to end and bombing downtown Beirut is not a path to peace.

@emilykschrader No, the reality is Iran has won plenty so far. Lifting of sanctions, pristine toll booths on Hurmuz, and increased influence in the region. The regime hasn't changed and now they have new income streams thanks to the US.

The U.S. did not lose this war. Israel did not lose this war. The Islamic regime did not lose this war (though they were dealt a heavy blow). The losers of this war are the Iranian people.

Despite major progress, the war hasn't fully achieved its two main goals yet: ☢️ Nuclear program: Iran still remains MONTHS away from a Hiroshima-style nuclear weapon. 🚀 Ballistic missiles: Most "missile cities" remain intact. The final deal will dictate the true winner.

But the objectives remain untouched. The issue of an unstable region by a murderous regime will have to be revisited evry now and then. The only difference is the regime will be even more of an exteremist jihadi motherfudhing vile to deal with. The total annihilation of Islamic republic would have brought that stability.
